This vintage inspired adventure session in Oak Island, NC was exactly what I needed to get my creative wheels turning again. At the beginning of June my family took a beach trip to Oak Island, NC. Night after night we experienced amazing sunsets and I told myself I HAD to have a session during one of those sunsets. I posted on Instagram that I was at the beach and would love to photograph anyone who was interested! I had two groups respond to that post!
Heather and Casey were exactly what I was looking for! They hadn’t had photos taken in a very long time and were stoked to get down and dirty in the sand (my favorite!). I couldn’t have asked for a more adventurous couple that shared the same love for Oak Island as I do. They’ve been vacationing there for more than a decade and dream of living in Oak Island one day.
