This first birthday shoot on the Blue Ridge Parkway was one for the books. Declan was one of the happiest little babies, bear crawling all over Price Park.

I’ve had the opportunity to photograph this fellow NC photographer and her family for a little while now, and I’m always very honored to do so. I honestly could not believe that Declan is already a year old! It feels like just yesterday that I was taking engagement photos for Lauren and Lucas. They are always such a blast to work with. They’re down for anything, from taking a little hike to climbing on logs that have fallen over the creek. Their love for creativity and the outdoors opens the doors for me as their photographer.

I can’t forget their big German Shepherd, Luna. This girl has been in their family for a few years now.  She has accepted Declan as her brother but is still a little hesitant about not being the only child anymore.  Give it a few more months and they’ll be inseparable.
