Boomer, NC Engagement Photos
John Kelly and Kodi invited me to their neck of the woods to take their beautiful engagement photos. Boomer, NC is home to the cutest apple farm, a farm that John Kelly grew up on. Early last year he took Kodi up to the top of the mountain and surprised her with a proposal!
During their session we chased the sunset (literally) and popped a bottle of champagne at the exact spot where he proposed! Kodi brought a few outfits, which was absolutely perfect. Between the natural backgrounds, natural light, and their deep love these photos turned out perfect in every way.
Chasing sunsets in a gorgeous outdoor setting is one of my absolutely favorite things to do during a session. By doing so you have a natural change in background, fun lighting effects, and it’s a phenomenal way to break the ice, get loose, and enjoy yourselves.
I am SO stoked for their wedding in October! If it’s anything like their engagement session, it’s going to be full of love, good booze and lots of fun!
