Meghan & James’s Wedding at Friends Farm

Friends Farm Wedding Venue is in Belews Creek, NC. This wedding venue is so eclectic. It has a beautiful ceremony space that has a creek running through it, covered with trees, birds chirping, or in their case, doves. One awesome thing about this venue is they have trained doves that can be released during the ceremony! The doves fly away and return to the home behind the venue afterwards. It’s the coolest thing, except I jump every time I shoot a wedding here because it always catches me off guard! hah! But it really is such a magical addition to the day. (And of course, I can’t go on without mentioning the beautiful outdoors this venue offers. With a gorgeous backdrop and several locations to capture your photos in. Your wedding photos will be full of natural light and nature.)

Meghan and James’s wedding was laid back, full of love, and beautifully simple. The groomsmen all wore unique socks capturing their personalities. The ladies all looked amazing comfortable in their simple but beautiful skirts. 

Meghan’s goal was to blend their families and to be surrounded by family and friends who were just ready to celebrate them and have a good time. Meghan’s mom made her bouquets, and the taco bar. Her friends did her hair and makeup. James had his best friends hanging with him before the ceremony and was just such a pleasure to photograph. Everything was just perfect.
