It’s hard to know where to start with this incredible Asheville Wedding at Haiku I Do. To begin, if you’re looking for a venue near Asheville, NC then you must check out Haiku I Do. The venue is close to downtown Asheville behind a tall, mysterious fence. After entering through the gate you are blown away by the eclectic details Jennifer has collected. Every corner you turn, you will find something beautiful, funky or comfortable to sit on.
Next, the Bride & Groom:
Lauren and Pat are both amazing people. Lauren is my best friend’s sister and seriously the best person. Pat is one of the funniest people I’ve ever met. They’ve been together for such a long time, everyone was ready to party hard for the two of them. I am so honored to have photographed their wedding and be part of such a special day.
They rented a beautiful Airbnb near the venue where they stayed with their whole wedding party. Because the airbnb was so close they were able to slowly get ready, drink champagne and enjoy every single second of the day. After traveling to the venue, in true Pat fashion, the guys took off their shirts and enjoyed a beer together. Even though there was rain in the forecast, we dodged it completely except for some tiny drizzles right before the ceremony. The ceremony had live music by my husband, Simon, and his friend, Will.
The reception didn’t hold back, and after the sunset the DJ kept the party going! The pizza from Tin Can Pizzeria was amazing! Everything about their day was perfect. Their guests were insanely nice and the party continued until the very last song.
