2021 Best of Weddings

I am so excited to share my favorite wedding photos of 2021, and admittedly they are all NC outdoor weddings! These photos are the ones that touched my heart, were aesthetically pleasing, had great lighting or just told the whole story in one image.  Going back through the 2021 weddings I really realized how much I love what I do.

The last two years have been insanely hard due to the state of our country (hello global pandemic) but I was totally blessed with an amazing wedding lineup with very special people.  These photos won’t flow like a regular wedding blog post would but it is a great way to show you all the images i’m proud of from 2021.

This wedding was a *chef’s kiss* kind of moment

My cousin Alex and his amazing wife, Lauren.  I’m lucky enough to call Lauren a close friend.

Prioritizing Moments:

This was Lindsey’s first look with her dad (left).  They changed their wedding date last minute due to his illness.

They wanted to make sure her father could walk her down the aisle.

Venue Love:

Lauren and Pat’s wedding was at an amazingly funky Venue called “Haiku I do” in Asheville, NC.

Close Friends:

Madison was my best friend growing up.  We have had so many crazy/fun times together.

It was so special to shoot her wedding day.

Owning Your Uniqueness

Tara wins my most favorite wedding dress of the year! It was so different! and look at those shoes!! ^^

Love is all you need

Dylan and Chastan, omg I can’t with them.  The most emotional, love filled wedding of the year for sure.

The final and perfect wedding

Mandi’s wedding was a fun backyard wedding that ended my year in the most amazing way.   It was the perfect weather, totally relaxed wedding and it ended with a breathtaking sunset and these lantern send offs.  Ps they’re biodegradable, I checked.
