Chetola Resort & Spa Wedding + Blue Ridge Parkway First Look

The stars were aligned for this beautiful wedding at the Chetola Resort & Spa in Blowing Rock, NC. First, the weather was perfect. Then everyone was delighted and excited, and there was ample time for the bride and groom to chill and enjoy their day. Don’t even get me started about this incredible venue. They have everything from an onsite restaurant, newly renovated room, a spa, and tons of outdoor exploring options. 

Once the hard part was over, the day just flew by. The ceremony was set up under a beautiful weeping willow tree and afterwards the reception was right beside that where everyone danced, ate great food and roasted marshmallows by the fire pit. Does this day sound dreamy? because it totally was.

But wait, we can’t forget the afternoon. Anna and Anderson decided to do a first look on the Blue Ridge Parkway before their ceremony. We had the overlook to ourselves and Anderson’s reaction to Anna in her wedding dress is something I will never forget. The tears instantly start running down his face, totally speechless and following there were nonstop hugs, kisses, and constantly talking about how beautiful she is. I cried, they cried, we all cried!

Anna and Anderson are such genuinely sweet people. I had the best time photographing their day! If I could shoot a wedding every weekend like Anna and Anderson’s I would be one ecstatic Boone Wedding Photographer!
