Boone Wedding Photographer | This intimate wedding was in the mountains of West Jefferson, NC. It was in a beautiful cabin way up on the hill. Rosie and Zachary had only a few of their family members in attendance. Zachary’s family lives in California but couldn’t make it to the wedding because of the current pandemic. They were thrown a ton of curve balls but their wedding day was absolutely beautiful. Rosie’s sister designed most of the decor. She was their florist, makeup artist, decorator, officiant, etc.! That’s an awesome sister right there. Rosie’s mother made the cake from scratch. Rosie wore a bracelet that was her grandmother’s in the early 1900s. Every single detail was perfectly planned.
These two rolled with the punches with grace. They ended up having the most special day with less stress and more intimacy. I think one thing this virus has taught us is how to accept and adapt to every situation. After walking down the aisle, Rosie and Zachary said hello and dried their tears while talking to their friends and family on the computer screen. We spent some time taking photos and talking about how perfect the night had been. The sun set and I headed home while they enjoyed dinner, together, as a married couple.
