Another gorgeous Bald Head Island Engagement Shoot for the records! Bald Head Island holds a very special place in my heart. My sister, cousins, and myself all grew up vacationing there every summer. Our grandparents sold their house on the island and we haven’t been able to go back much since. On top of a special place this couple is also very near and dear to me because it’s of my cousin and his fiance! 

Well this summer we all went back for a week and had THE BEST time! (Unfortunately Grayam couldn’t make it) We were able to share our love for the island with our partners and it was so so special. Of course it was only appropriate to take their engagement photos while we were there.

Our family absolutely LOVES Lauren! She fits right in with us and isn’t even phased at the chaos that ensues when we all get together. Our Papa loved Lauren and always picked on her when she came around. He thought she was so pretty and let Alex know he had found a good one.

Lauren has become one of us. Since Alex is a little younger than us, we always gave him a hard time with things, especially when it came to girls. Although our approval isn’t required, I think he’s probably a little relieved that his cousins accept her into the family! hah! Alex definitely has found a good one and we are so thankful for someone like Lauren to be a part of our family.
